Alex A. Piemonte, Jr. was born and raised in Chicago Illinois. Al attended Roosevelt Military Academy and the University of Illinois where he majored in business. After serving in the military, he began his career in the automobile business as a salesman for Dick Fencl Chevrolet.

Eleven years later, after moving up to sales manager and eventually general manager, he had the opportunity to buy Glenbrook Ford. In October of 1965 he purchased Al Piemonte Ford in Melrose Park and has subsequently acquired more dealerships and franchises including Al Piemonte Cadillac of St Charles Illinois.

The Al Piemonte Automotive Group and its employees realize that 'people skills' in all avenues of life make for a successful business. Our philosophy is that when we treat each other respectfully as coworkers, we will have just as strong a loyalty to our customers. This is why Al Piemonte does so much repeat and referral business. It is also the reason this organization and our people continue to receive, year after year, awards for excellence in sales and service.
