Retaining clients is complicated and difficult because each client has different characteristics and needs. Because of this, every business owner is required to understand clients as well as possible. As a business owner, what do you do to retain your clients? Confused? Follow several tips below:
Meet them. Arrange your schedule to meet them routinely. When meeting clients, make sure that you don’t come late and wear clothes as you like. You don’t have to discuss about new business projects when meeting. You can discuss about project result and their opinion about the result. Even, you may meet them to keep communication only.
Invite them to take a part in business events. When holding certain business events, like gala dinner and grand product’s launching, invite them to take a part in those events. By doing this, they will feel appreciated and respected, so they want to cooperate with you continuously.
Invite them to have dinner together. If you have free time on weekends, consider inviting your clients to have dinner together at your residence or good restaurant. Allow them to bring their spouse, so this event is not monotonous. You may also bring your spouse (if you have).
In addition, avoid taking decisions yourself without discussing with your clients first, especially if decisions are related to business projects with your clients. If you do this bad thing, they can feel disappointed and be angry with you. The worst part is they can leave you forever. If this happens, be ready to get huge loss or financial problem.
